I originally penned the following article in 2005. It prompted much discussion, including comments from some SCCA members that I was dead wrong about tire pressure and hydroplaning speed. I decided to update the article and share it again. Anyone who wishes to re-post it may do so, but please post the entire article—including this paragraph.
